Shinto
Shinto is a practice of religious rites based on the Japanese polytheistic idea of (deity). The word Shintō means "Way of Kami."
- The Kami are the Shinto deities. The word "Kami" is generally translated into English as "god" or "gods." However, the Kami bear little resemblance to the gods of monotheistic religions. There are no concepts which compare to the Christian beliefs in the wrath of God, his omnipotence, his omni-presence, or the separation of God from humanity due to sin. There are numerous other deities who are conceptualized in many different forms.
"Beauty, truth, goodness, morality - these are all connected, inseparable from each other. Those who live life with the perspective outlined above - with an aesthetic sensitivity, an emotional sensibility toward the world, and with a sincere heart will behave morally almost naturally."
The Above Quote is basically saying that if you are in the Shinto religion, and you have the correct attitude towards life, they say you will have a happy and enjoyable life of human existence.
